Spring Tour Journal 4/3 (ctL)

Day:8 Mile:(I'll be honest, I haven't looked, we're near 1000 on the new ride, about 2000 total)

Sorry Akron.

Not to celebrate too soon after the funeral, but may we proudly introduce you to BLUE SUNSHINE, the newest vehicle in the Turn Pale garage. She purrs like the proverbial kitten and, best of all, appears to have her head gasket intact!!

She's built for speed, as Marty can attest ("Both the van and the speedometer go 85" --said while barrelling through a foggy black night in Pennsylvania).

We did a crazy thing and drove in Marty's car to play a show in Columbus,OH on Radio Berlin's equipment. Thanks guys. It was a fabulous show and made the four hour drive back to Bloomington only seem like eight.

Pittsburgh didn't work out so well...hopefully the space will continue nevertheless.

We played a house party last night in Dover,NH. If you're ever given the chance to drive from Pittsburgh to Dover, do me a favor, fly. But make sure you get here. The kids are really into the scene and are generally excited to have people come rock their sleepy burg.

It's into the Big Apple tonight. We're back on the road and it's so nice...
